I used to doodle to help my busy brain pay attention during meetings. There was always at least one ridiculous sentence said in every meeting. When the meeting was over, it was pen up from the drawing and pen down for the quote. They often matched completely unintentionally. So, after many random pages of doodles, I put them together, printed them into a magazine, and gave them out to post houses and agencies for holiday gifts.
Later, these doodles took on a life of their own and became The MoMeMans®.
